A selection of papers from the SSN symposium “Home-work”: work in and at home from the sixteenth century to the present which took place in Manchester in March 2009 has been published by Home Cultures in a special issue on Home and Work in Britain. (Home Cultures, Issue 2, Volume 8, July 2011)
The issue includes an introduction from symposium organisers Jane Hamlett (Royal Holloway) and Lesley Hoskins (Royal Holloway), as well as full articles of papers presented by Anne Kershen (Queen Mary, University of London), Jane Whittle (University of Exeter), Lesley Hoskins (Royal Holloway), Amanda Flather (University of Essex) and Lucy Delap (University of Cambridge).
